As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Phoenix AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a government location where you will welcome visitors monitor entry activity and support access screening and other security-related procedures with professionalism and this people-first role you will provide outstanding customer service communicate clearly and work as part of a reliable team that values agility innovation and integrity while helping to support an orderly environment.

What Youll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access control protocols and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Screen visitors employees and/or contractors entering the location by following established screening guidelines and reporting unusual or prohibited items in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Monitor entry points verify identification and authorization as directed and document visitor activity deliveries and other access-related events.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns hazards and/or maintenance issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
