As a Security Officer - Access Coordinator in San Antonio TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents guests visitors and/or vendors by following access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a residential location verify credentials and/or visitor authorization and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent security-related screening practices.
• Respond to incidents resident concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter observing for maintenance issues policy violations and/or suspicious activity and communicating findings to the appropriate contacts.
• Support traffic flow at gates and common access areas by directing vehicles assisting with visitor processing and maintaining accurate security-related logs and records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
