Business Development Representative - Healthcare (REMOTE w/Travel)

Copper Hills Youth Center, located in West Jordan, Utah, is a residential treatment facility (behavioral health care) serving male and female 12-17 year olds who have been diagnosed with psychiatric disorders.   Copper Hills Youth Center promotes healing and strengthens relationships by providing extraordinary care in a trauma informed environment.  Through personal accountability, effective communication, integrity, respect and teamwork, we enhance the lives of youth, their families, our employees and the community.

Type:  Full-time salaried exempt position - with 75%+ weekly travel required to the Western part of the US.  Other states as required by business necessity.

Salary:  $80,000 - $95,000 year based on education and experience

Location: the successful candidate will live in one of the following states: California, Nevada, New Mexico, Washington or Idaho

Your Key Position Goals & Objectives:

  • Responsible for the management, development and growth of referral sources in an identified regional territory
  • Develop, execute and evaluate strategies and activities of marketing plan
  • Identify potential referral and funding resources
  • Manage all travel activities (75% travel required weekly)
  • Efficient use of remote work environment
  • Use COS skills
Qualifications

Your skills and experience will include:

Education: B.S. Degree in Marketing/Business Administration, or a related field REQUIRED , MS Marketing/Business Administration PREFERRED

Experience:

  • Five years' experience preferred in a related behavioral health field
  • Experience with Managed Healthcare organizations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of operating independently, effectively and self-motivated
  • Able to analyze, plan and follow-through for maximum effectiveness
  • Experience in developing new territories in target markets
  • Ability to close sales and achieve assigned objectives
  • Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse terminology
  • Experience in customer service in the health care field preferred
  • Working courteously with the public and with individuals within the facility

License:  Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
