As a Armed Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Austin TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents alarms disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and actions taken according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings parking areas common areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points check credentials when required and support authorized entry procedures for tenants contractors deliveries and/or guests.
• Maintain a visible presence while carrying authorized duty equipment in accordance with post orders company guidelines and applicable requirements and communicate with local management and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
