Your impact

Blacklynx, a Jacobs company, is seeking a talented and motivated Mid-level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities: 

• Work scope may include the following duties:
• Proficiency with Go programming language and best practices or other modern languages
• Knowledge of Git version control 
• Knowledge of Git workflows and branching strategies 
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation 
• Understanding of distributed systems patterns and challenges 
• Strong Experience with containerization and Docker 
• Experience with testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing 
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior employees

Here's what you'll need

Preferred:

• Experience with frontend development utilizing Angular 
• Experience with Kubernetes deployments and management in production
• Experience with Kubernetes package management utilizing Helm
• Knowledge of WebAssembly and wasmCloud or similar platforms 
• Configuring and managing Traefik or other API gateways/ingress controllers 
• Familiarity with observability tools
• Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues 
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS/C2S) 
• Knowledge of security best practices in microservices

Clearance Required: 

TS/SCI Clearance required to start this role.

Minimum Years of Experience: 

BS degree from an accredited school and two (2) to five (5) years' experience.

Posted Salary Range: Upper

140,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $140,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
